With a clear mission to transform the way organisations develop and sustain human skills, Filipa Lemos Cristina is the founder and CHO of PowerUP. Her innovative approach combines science, technology and active learning to help companies strengthen their teams and ensure a more sustainable future.
With a scientific degree in Biology (University of Lisbon) and postgraduate qualifications in Marketing, Medical Affairs and Neurosciences, Filipa has a diverse background, from scientific research to the corporate world and even start-ups, where she worked for more than 20 years in multinationals and international projects. Her experience has allowed her to realise that the real driving force behind organisations is not just technology, but essential human skills in people, such as collaboration, critical thinking, empathy, creativity and communication, in order to achieve talent loyalty, productivity and results.
Motherhood was a turning point in her career, leading her to reflect deeply. She realised that, in order to build truly sustainable organisations, it was essential to put people at the heart of decision-making and ensure that their human skills were continuously developed.
At PowerUP, Filipa has developed innovative methodologies, helping companies to measure and activate these human skills in a sustainable way. Her vision is aligned with the challenges of the future of work, integrating strategies based on neurolearning and organisational culture.
Her work involves strategic partnerships with business leaders, HR and decision-makers, helping to build more resilient, adaptable and innovative teams. Filipa believes that human development is the differentiating factor for organisations that want to thrive in a constantly evolving world. Through PowerUP, she is redefining the impact of human competences on companies, ensuring that they become a strategic priority for sustainable growth.
Let’s powerUP together, shall we?
